Explore Miami's Beaches
From South Beach to Haulover Beach
The best Miami beaches are steps away from our South Beach hotel. Here's our list of our favorite places for sun, sand and sightseeing.
South Pointe Park
This beach lies at the very tip of Miami Beach, and it's one of the closest to our hotel. It's part of a 17-acre park with picnic areas, a playground, a fishing pier, and great views of passing cruise ships. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Government Cut channel, you'll have stunning blue waters surrounding you.
21st–35th Street Beach
This small stretch of sand features The Miami Beach boardwalk, which turns into a paved surface as you head south past 23rd Street. It's great for a morning run.
Lummus Park Beach
Head here for volleyball, thatched huts and people-watching. 12th Street also has a gay beach. Keep an eye out for the funky lifeguard stands scattered throughout the sand.
12 miles of white sand, ocean surf, landscaped dunes. One of the most scenic beachfronts, dense vegetation blocks out nearby high-rises, making you feel miles away from the city. Have lunch at a shaded picnic area.
53rd–63rd Street Beach
The play area at 53rd Street makes this beach perfect for families. Quiet, and not too crowded, it's ideal for beachers who just want to relax and chill.
